Britney is always in the news. Over the last half year she has been in the news for her hard times - divorce, childcare struggles, rehab, wild behavior, ect. So what gives? Astrologically speaking that is.The transits of the outer planets show no major struggles but her progressed chart tells an interesting story. Using her progressed chart (set for her place of birth, Mahon, Mississippi), she has both natal and progressed Pluto conjunct her progressed Ascendant. Also both her natal Saturn and progressed Saturn are in square to her Progressed Moon.
Moon square Saturn is no treat and Britney is dealing with emotional issues she’s never had before. She might also be battling depression and insecurities. Thankfully, the progressed Moon moves fast and this will be over for her by August.
Pluto on the Ascendant is very powerful and speaks of massive transformations. Britney’s life and ultimately her personality is changing. Pluto is all about power struggles and with it being on the Ascendant, she is probably struggling mostly with herself. The Ascendant also shows how the world is watching. This progression last a long time. However, by the end of the year Pluto will slip into the 12th house and her struggles will be less visible. But the next couple of years will be interesting for Britney and she could do a very amazing transformation with her life and career - probably within the next two years.
