I’ve posted a few times on the blog about when Mercury goes retrograde people loose their keys.   I’ve seen this countless times at a motel I work for.  

So why?  Mercury rules keys and all locks.  It also rules small objects in general. 

Speaking of keys - if you’ve lost yours try a horary astrologer.  Horary is a specific system of astrology that answers questions.  Usually yes or no.  It’s excellent at finding lost objects.  Case in point;  when my parents lost their dog out in the desert, my mother (and fellow astrologer) found the dogs using horary, as it pointed to the direction the dogs where in.
